Symptoms

An attempt to open Horde fails with the error:

"Register globals is enabled. Exiting" 

Cause

The register_globals directive is switched on in PHP settings.

Resolution

Set the register_globals to Off in the following php.ini

• /etc/psa-webmail/horde/horde/php.ini

• server php.ini

  php -i | grep 'Loaded Configuration' Loaded Configuration File => /etc/php.ini
